12,000 Feet, May 6th

Went for a little ride on Friday to clear the cobwebs, was curious to see if I could get up Loveland Pass, which tops out at 12,000 feet. Quite the views up there, but I especially enjoy them this time of year. Not much to say, just some photographs that barely scratch the surface of what it was like being up there on a motorcycle the beginning of May. (Maximize window to view panorama pictures)

On the way up:

Just on the other side of the pass is where the deepest drifts accumulate on the side of the road. Couldn't go down far, as the road was shaded and I was worried about ice. So, went down a few hundred yards, grabbed these and turned around!
